Hong Islands by Longtail Boat

Description

The literal translation of Koh Hong is ‘the island with the room’ due to the gorgeous lagoon located in the island’s centre. Head out onto the pristine waters of the Andaman Sea by traditional longtail boat and explore the perfect white sand beaches and dramatic islands towering above the sea.

On arrival at Hong Island, explore its exotic beaches and lush nature. You may simply choose to find a spot to soak up the sun’s rays or hike along the 800-meter trail behind the beach. Along the trail you can discover some of the rare species that call the island home, and see beautiful Banyan trees which play a central role in Buddhism. After some time discovering the island, we will visit the famous lagoon. Accessible only by boat, this natural wonder was once a cave that collapsed thousands of years ago. Keep your eyes peeled for the giant fruit bats that roost in the mangrove trees and take in the amazing scenery around you. Before heading back to Ao Nang, we will visit beautiful Pak Bia and Lao Lading (paradise) Island.

Thai lunch is served at one of the islands, Krabi Spesialisten style. Forget crowded restaurants and boring lunch boxes, you can look forward to bamboo beach mats, low tables and Thai food served directly on the beach. This is a family-friendly excursion for all ages with lots of time to snorkel, swim, and enjoy the sights and sounds of life on these incredible island beaches. If you’re looking for exquisite food, snorkelling adventures and beautiful beaches, then this is the tour for you!
