The Khao Sok National Park is part of the largest natural reserve in southern Thailand. There lies a beautiful enchanting lake. Most Khao Sok tours focus solely on the entrance of the national park, but our excursion leads us further to the “Cheow Lan Lake“. The lake’s surroundings provide exciting views of mountains, bizarre lime stone formations and wild jungle.
After a scenic 70 minutes Longtail boat ride, we’ll arrive at the jungle trek departure point. And after a 40 minutes’ walk, come through out at a little lake which very nice crossing by bamboo raft. There starts an exciting 40-minute trekking along the jungle which will lead us to a small lake where we get upon a bamboo raft to move accross. A short climb will shoulder us to the entrance of the “Pakarang” Cave. Equipped with head camps, we are going to move in and explore the cave and its wonderful elements like giant columns, stalagmites, stalactites, and calcite ponds with coral-like structures.
Subsequently, we’ll get back to the boat through the same way as we came. After a short boat drive to the raft house, you will enjoy lunch at the floating restaurant. Thereafter let’s get freshen up by swimming in the lake before departing back to Khao Lak.
